Monthly meetings are held in person on the second Thursday of each month from 4:00 – 5:30 p.m. You may also join the meeting via Zoom. Contact Marilyn 248-561-2027 or [email protected].
Meetings consist of informal sharing of information in a round table format with occasional speakers. To provide additional support, a chaplain is always present at the meetings. Anyone is welcome regardless which health system they choose for treatment. Approximately 15-25 ladies attend the monthly meetings from different stages in their journeys (newly diagnosed, recurrence, and long-term survivors). She will review natural, non-invasive treatments as well as minimally invasive options to address these symptoms. She will cover topics such as pelvic floor dysfunction, incontinence and pelvic pain. Stephanie Spaniolo is physician assistant to Chief of Urology, Dr. Kenneth Peters at Women’s Urology and Pelvic Health Center at Beaumont Royal Oak. She graduated from Northeastern University in Boston, MA and started her career as a PA at Massachusetts General Hospital. She specializes in sensitive subjects such as bladder dysfunction, recurrent UTI, pelvic pain and is passionate about patient education. |
